Finally, woke up with almost no pain in my hip. Gotta inquire my doctor about when the stitches get removed, I wanna work out again. Propably will be a few weeks until I can lift weights again though. Gonna go running again tonight, trying to make 30 minutes at 11km/h (6.875 mph). HIIT still feels like having a knife rammed into my groin.
Edit : Running got cancelled.

Urgh…didn’t think that 8 weeks without sports, 4 of which I spent sitting all the time, would kick me back that far. Been running for 20 minutes yesterday (The surgery was 4 days ago, so the pain was too bad to run for a longer time) and today my legs feel as if I participated in the Ironman contest. Still, it’s good to be able to move again.

Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce myself. Since most of those who read this know me anyway, I shall focus this on my reasons for starting this blog: I am currently at a possible turning point of my life. Having been struck by an injury that had me stuck at home for about 4 weeks, and will for about 2 more, I took some time to think about a few things. What surprised me most was noticing, upon looking back, the way I tend to half-ass things, postponing duties until they stack so high that i can not possibly postponing them any further, not thinking important decisions all the way through. That’s why I created this blog; to get my stuff together, keep an eye on myself. Consider it self-optimization combined with attention-whoring.
Thanks, that is all.
Mike.
